Martin Cummings is Technical Director at Airedale Group and our specialist in commercial kitchen ventilation, extraction and bespoke manufacturing. His expertise covers the design and specification of complete commercial kitchen ventilation systems, including extraction, air supply, bespoke canopies and associated fabricated components. Martin works across the technical considerations that determine how these systems perform in practice, from airflow and heat management to grease control, energy efficiency, fire safety and compliance. He also has extensive knowledge of bespoke stainless-steel manufacturing, helping develop made-to-measure solutions where standard products cannot meet the operational, spatial or technical requirements of a project. Airedale’s manufacturing capability includes bespoke counters and fabricated kitchen elements alongside specialist canopies and ventilation components. Martin contributes to Airedale content on commercial kitchen ventilation and extraction, canopy design, airflow and energy efficiency, ventilation standards and compliance, and bespoke stainless-steel manufacturing.
