Successful trial leads to Airedale saving key client over £220k on their operational costs!

One recent illustration of this is for one of our key accounts within the Care Home/Retirement Living sector, with whom we are mid-way through a nationwide new build and redevelopment programme of superior Retirement living complexes.
Working in close partnership with leading UK manufacturer and supply partner to Airedale, Lincat (“Lincoln Catering”), we carried out an extensive, 3 month trial to ascertain whether Lincat’s new Phoenix induction range could offer our client significant reductions on their operational costs. Operational costs running commercial catering facilities for any client in particular multi-site operators can become a financial burden, often surpassing the initial savings that could have been made at the time of purchasing equipment. Matching the most appropriate, whole-cost equipment with the operational requirements of our clients is key to the role we play for our clients.

As can be seen, by replacing their existing unit to the new Phoenix range, our client is now saving a huge £235,601 per year on their operational costs, nearly 53% more cost effective. Needless to say that our client was delighted to be saving such a high cost per year, equivalent to the cost of over two full average commercial kitchen installations across their estate. We begun replacing these existing units at the end of last year and all current and forthcoming projects will now have this range as standard.
