Our university kitchen design and build offering extends beyond the kitchen space to the design and build of cafeterias and retail areas, too. We integrate our university catering design into the wider plan of the campus to provide your student community with what they truly need.

We’re also proud members of The University Caterers Organisation (TUCO), as both a catering facility designer and a catering equipment supplier. Hospital Kitchen Design and Build

Hospital and healthcare facility kitchens require high levels of expertise in terms of design and installation. These are often large-scale catering facilities, cooking for large numbers of patients and staff. Furthermore, a healthcare setting often has a high number of patients with complex dietary needs and restrictions, in addition to patients with strict nutrition plans.

At Airedale, our designers can strategically create kitchen layouts to accommodate the range of needs within a hospital or healthcare facility kitchen, selecting the proper equipment for these diverse requirements and planning a kitchen that maximises the available space.

Catering Equipment Maintenance
Public Sector Catering Equipment Maintenance

In public sector facilities, efficiency is key, which is why our Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) contracts are highly advisable. These contracts mean that we’ll support you beyond the design and build of your kitchen, sending an engineer to carry out regular maintenance on your kitchen equipment, as well as gas safety checks.

For emergency, reactive maintenance, you can request one of our engineers. With commercial kitchen engineers based around the country, we’ll send the right specialist to you as swiftly as possible.

Food and Catering Policy Compliance

The Public Sector Food and Catering Policy proposed in 2022 set a number of expectations for public sector catering, including standards for the kitchen space and catering equipment.

This includes efficient kitchen energy management, as well as ensuring that all catering equipment meets the criteria in the energy technology list. With our bespoke catering equipment design services, strategic kitchen layout planning and more, we can create energy-efficient kitchens in accordance with these requirements.

The policy also emphasises the need to maximise the use life of public sector catering equipment, which we do by first providing high-quality technology, and secondly by carrying out regular planned preventative maintenance to prevent equipment breakdown.
