Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to collaborate closely with the Chief Technology Officer across various business divisions. The successful candidate will oversee IoT and digital transformation initiatives spanning the organisation. This role entails managing internal software system development using agile methodologies, implementing group-wide HR software, developing CRM applications, and deploying IoT solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, a deep understanding of IoT technologies, and a proven track record of driving successful digital transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CTO to define project scope, goals, and deliverables for IoT and digital transformation initiatives.
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budgets, to ensure successful project execution.
- Lead cross-functional project teams, providing guidance and support to achieve project milestones and deliverables on time and within budget.
- Utilise agile methodologies to manage software development projects, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and regular retrospectives.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritise tasks, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Oversee the implementation of group-wide HR software, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop customised CRM applications tailored to the specific needs of different business divisions.
- Coordinate the installation and deployment of IoT solutions for customers, from initial planning and design to testing and commissioning.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Prepare regular status reports and presentations for senior leadership, highlighting key achievements, milestones, and challenges.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving innovation and efficiency in project management practices and processes.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a project manager, with a minimum of 5 years in leading complex technology projects, preferably in IoT and digital transformation.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience with agile project management tools such as Jira or Trello.
- Solid technical background with knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), cloud computing, and IoT technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification is a plus.
- Experience in the hospitality or facility management industry is advantageous but not required.
