Latest BIM requirements for DfE Framework 21 Projects

The DfE has recently consulted on the basis that ALL future DfE catering projects, regardless of size, must be delivered in BIM with all the accompanying COBIe data included. This proposal removes the dispensation for lower-value band projects and this could represent a challenge for main contractors.
Catering solutions providers who can also provide full BIM support for DfE Framework 21 projects are in short supply. With only limited numbers able to work at full BIM level 2, main contractors may find it difficult to locate partners able to completely support project delivery.
The Airedale Group is the leading catering Design House in the UK and has been producing BIM designs and data in-house for a number of years. We offer complete design support for main contractors in this area and have a proven track record of delivering full turnkey solutions for projects in education, supporting the likes of Bowmer & Kirkland and Galliford Try in recent times.
