CESA Light Equipment & Tableware Forum Review

The Catering Equipment Suppliers Association or CESA is the leading trade organisation for British-based manufacturers and suppliers to the catering industry, successfully acting as a conduit between them and the distributors in which they rely on the vast majority of their businesses. The Light Equipment & Tableware Forum, now in its 16th year, was held this week at Whittlebury Hall, with the famous Silverstone race track almost literally in its grounds. Over a day and a half, distributors met 19 manufacturers/suppliers in a series of 2o minute meetings, with the onus on promoting the very latest innovations to hit the market.
The Forum was therefore a timely event for our latest division Airedale Essential Solutions to attend. With a brand new website, updated Retail store at our Weymouth office and an ever-expanding client base, our division’s Showroom Manager Alex and Group Marketing Manager Pete had a thoroughly successful couple of days, with a number of possible suppliers and/or products we are looking to promote through our Airedale Essential Solutions division.
British manufacturing expertise was very much on display including from market leaders including Dualit, who still make by hand (with a neat touch of the creator signing his/her name) their famous 4/6 slice toasters; Mitchell & Cooper , Dometic, Denby and Row & Sons. In line with both our own in-house manufacturing divisions and promotion of the wider UK Manufacturing sector, we are looking forward to working with these and CESA these coming months as we continue to develop our Airedale Essential Solutions division. Look out for more news and developments on future blogs and across our social media channels.
The Forum included a fantastic Awards evening and we extend our thanks to CESA for arranging the whole event and congratulations to industry colleagues who won awards on the night.
