“We have been hugely impressed with with Airedale. The sales process was detailed and consultative in approach. There was no hard sale, and significant time was dedicated to this process so that the resultant design specification was detailed, priced accurately, and any technical issues fully understood. As a result, the project management and implementation was quick, efficient and timely. It was clear the project organisation was very well managed. At all stages we were kept very well informed. The implementation team on the shop floor worked with skill, attention to detail, cleanly, politely and efficiently and made huge efforts to dovetail with other trades. We will most definitely be using Airedale again.”

Gilpin Spice and Lake House hotels are two stunning 5* sister hotels located in the Lake District. Our principle projects division Airedale Catering Equipment was involved from the earliest days of the project, which allowed our team to be integrated within Gilpin Spice’s.
Highlights undoubtedly include the bespoke U-Shaped, two-tier counter, which has a beautiful granite and lava rock finish. Installing this required faultless accuracy by our team as there was just an 8mm clearance!
Sustainability and sensitivity was another essential consideration. Our Airedale Ventilation Systems’ division designed the wood-clad canopy and a total of four extraction systems, which ensures that the fumes generated from the Theatre-style Kitchen are blown away from the paying guests. Further, our AVS team worked tirelessly to minimise the noise generated by these fans, which was essential because there are premium hotel rooms in very close proximity to the Restaurant.
