To ensure the optimum performance, safety and durability of equipment after it has been purchased it is important to consider routine or preventative maintenance.
All equipment which we supply is generally covered by a 12 month parts and labour warranty from the date of purchase - although in some cases this is extended to 2 or even 3 years. However, even the best engineered machines may require a little care and attention from time to time.
We therefore offer a range of preventative maintenance contracts that are tailored to suit your budget and the demands placed on your business. Service visits could be monthly, quarterly or even annually according to your needs. Although a maintenance contract is often seen as a cost, it may well pay for itself simply by extending the lifespan of the equipment, thus postponing the need for replacement.
Some clients, however, prefer to opt for reactive cover and will only call us when a fault occurs. This saves on a regular service cost but will result in unexpected breakdowns and lost revenue when production is lost. This type of unplanned expense can often be more difficult to budget for and usually arrives just at the wrong time!
Our Service Technicians, either employed by us or via a network of approved service partners, are based throughout the UK. Calls are handled by Airedale Technical Services, our in-house service support division. This gives our customers the convenience of a single telephone number that is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Calls are logged and the details are passed on to a locally based technician. The whole process - from the initial call through the ordering of parts to call completion - is logged for future reference. A number of our clients have taken advantage of this history to build up an individual picture of their service needs which can then be used to inform equipment selection and staff training policies.
