John Rhodes entered the food service industry 35 years ago, at Mollet Catering Equipment. From humble beginnings as a design draughtsman, John progressed through the company to Design Office Manager and then Area Sales Manager, before joining Cosalt Nicholson Ltd.

In 1984 John decided to embark upon an exciting new enterprise and set up his own company Airedale Catering Limited.

John’s commitment to customer care and added value has helped secure Airedale’s standing within the catering industry. Three further companies were established, Caterform Stainless Steel Fabrications Ltd, Aire Seal Refrigeration and Airedale Technical Services Ltd, providing total food service equipment solutions. The Airedale group of companies now employs over 80 personnel with in house skills and expertise dedicated to their clients’ requirements within all market sectors of the food service industry.
