We are constantly striving to improve the level of support we can provide to our clients. In conjunction with Makro, we have developed online access to allow them to see in real time the status of their outstanding service calls and the status and scheduling of planned maintenance visits. The facility also shows a complete breakdown of their catering equipment portfolio across their 33 sites nationwide... |
Another innovation recently introduce is the Service Medical visit which we are shortly to offer clients after the handover of a new project. Think of it as the after-sales check you might get if you buy a new car…..after 3 months or so an engineer will call to check the installation, identify teething troubles or unresolved snags, maybe recalibrate equipment or even provide staff instruction |

Whilst we greatly value the clients we have worked with regularly over the years, it is always pleasing when we work for a new client – especially when the work is unusual or challenging. We have recently embarked on a joint venture with an American company – Proctor Co who are based in Colorado, to install new facilities for Showcase |
|
De Lux Cinemas in Derby and Leicester. We are working in conjunction with Proctor – some equipment being shipped direct from the US and some sourced in the UK. We are providing project management, co-ordination and installation services for the entire project. Hopefully this will be the first of several such joint ventures in the UK. |

A team is only as good as the sum of it’s parts and we believe our people are one of the greatest strengths of our business. Over recent months we have seen several changes which have further strengthened our support, and geographical spread to give wider coverage across the whole of the UK... |

Maybe it’s something in the water but suddenly everyone at Airedale seems to be running (well…for some it’s more of a jog actually) but all for good causes: Simon Ladley our Projects Sales Manager for De Vere and Makro ran 6 miles for Sports Relief recently and our Finance Director Ian Rowbotham did the Keighley Big 10k on the same day as Sport Relief in support of Sue Ryder Care & Manorland’s Hospice. A glutton for punishment they are both entering The Great North Run later this year. All this though is eclipsed by our Installation Engineer Lee Sutcliffe who completed the London Marathon in just over 4 hours – and there were those who really didn’t think he’d finish it! Finally, not to be outdone, “new boy” Paul Simpson is doing a 26 mile charity cycle ride for Leukemia Research then a London to Brighton cycle in June for the British Heart Foundation…..phew! |
